The
nervous system helps control many parts of the body, including the
senses, organs and limbs. When injury, disease or stroke interfere
with the nervous system, the neurological rehabilitation team at
the CHRISTUS Spohn Physical Therapy Center can help.
Our
physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists
are dedicated to helping our clients regain as much independence
as possible.
In addition
to one-on-one care and education, several of our therapists are
certified in neurological developmental training allowing them to
provide treatment geared specifically to the individual's problem.
Working
with you, your doctor, and your family and friends, our rehabilitation
team can help you set specific and realistic goals, regain as much
physical ability as possible and learn how to work around skills
that can't be restored.
Using
resources in our facility and the community, we strive to help you
heal, improve your quality of life, prevent further injury, and
enjoy life and activity to the fullest extent possible.
The
people we help are often recovering from:
