Michele

Lead therapist for education
Michele
Voight is originally from the St. Louis metropolitan area, where,
in 1987, she received her associate of applied science degree for
physical therapist assistant.
Michele
moved to Corpus Christi in 1992 and completed her bachelor of science
degree in education. She came to work at CHRISTUS Spohn Rehabilitation Services in 1994. Most of her work has been as a
physical therapist assistant in our outpatient sports medicine facility
at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi—South.
Recently,
Michele became lead therapist for education, a position created
as CHRISTUS Spohn Rehabilitation Services focused
efforts on upgrading our education program for students and staff.
Michele works as the center coordinator for clinical education for
all disciplines, including physical, occupational and speech therapies.
In this position, she assists in staff education by coordinating
classes for continuing education credits with both in-house and
outside speakers.
Michele
is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association
(APTA) and has been the national assembly representative for Texas.
She is currently the Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Special
Interest Group chair. She also serves on the Peer Review Panel for
Continuing Education Approval for the Texas Physical Therapy Association
(TPTA).
